The Little League Challenger Division® was founded in 1989, and is Little League’s adaptive baseball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges.

Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If an individual can participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accommodations they should do so. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4 to 18; or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school.

For the 2022 season Atwater Little League is excited to introduce a much needed program to our community called the Challenger Program. This program will allow us to expand the fun game of baseball to even more families in the community.

Registration will be opening December 11, 2021. At this time our registration system is limited to the way we process registrations. Depending on your players age (16+) registration may have to be completed in person by downloading the necessary forms and turning them in to a league official with payment. We are working to try and get this corrected. Please stay tuned for updates!
